Amending for the Final 415 Regulations
If you are confused about when you need to amend for the Final 415 Regs, this live web seminar is for you. During this live web seminar, we will examine timing issues to consider when adopting an amendment for the Final 415 Regs, including working through specific examples involving the timing differences created between a plan's limitation year, plan year, fiscal year, and allocation year. We will discuss the meaning of discretionary and interim amendments, and how the IRS imposes timing requirements based on whether the amendment is considered a discretionary amendment or an interim amendment. We will also take a brief look at how plans use Code section 415, and the differences between 415 compensation, 414(s) compensation, 3401 compensation and W-2 compensation.
